You will need to change the coder from the widget iconfileselector.
Or you change you file names. The long beginnings are the same for all files you showed.
Why not order them with directories and make the names shorter?
There is no setting for that purpose.

Thanks newbynobi. I found "iconfileselector" in gmoccapy.py but I don't know how to go further. You have to search in another file?
That's true, my filenames may be unnecessarily long. This is often the case with Cambam too.

Hallo Bruno,
the changes must not be done in gmoccapy.py.
You will need to modify iconview.py. The file should be placed in the lib folder in some subfolder.

Thanks newbynobi,
I couldn't find iconview.py anywhere!
I think I've searched a little bit everywhere, but found nothing.

Hi, I struggle with the file name format as well. Fixer has produced a modified version of iconview.py. The location of the file is explained in the head of the file. I use this modified version in my setup. I can’t tell you the version of linuxcnc I use as I am not at home. Here is the link to fixer’s file
