Missing zero buttons on the touch-off tab? was created by Eyecon
Hello,
I have gmoccapy running as part of a Linuxcnc 2.8.2 installation on a raspberry pi. I’m yet to do an actual configuration connected to my hardware but I noticed when playing around with the sim configurations that the touch off tab only has the axis touch off value entry buttons, the convenient zero axis buttons are not showing. Is there a configuration require in the ini for these to show up?

One of the first releases had that button, IMHO 1.xx, from 2.xx they are gone.
If you press one of the touch off button you will be asked to enter a value. The entered value will be stored and so pushing the button next time that value will be displayed.
If you want to check exactly what release does have the button and when the disapaered, you may just look at the release file in share folder.

I'm pretty sure 2.7.x had these buttons and I am glad that they are gone .
Because they were placed at the same position as the touch off button and if the system lags a bit, you can accidently zero an axis.
