Hello,
I warn you,I am French
I am converting my home-made CNC from GRBL to LinuxCNC.I'm using a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2 GB of RAM and its GPIOs to use LinuxCNC with the Gmoccapy interface.

However I have a problem with the display. I use a 4/3 screen of 1280x1024 px. Basically, when no tool is loaded, the display is good, but, after homing and loading a tool, the G-code section is overwritten by the Tool-information section. This bothers me a lot for the cleanliness of the interface and especially for the visualization of the machine status.

Is this a bug? A limitation of Gmoccapy ? Can I correct this ?
I would not like to modify the glade file.

Nevertheless, thank you very much for the existence of LinuxCNC and all that composes it!

That's a bug, the size of the Info areas should never change.
It seems that you use master branch, do you?

In master There are still a lot of thinks to correct, as that branch is just converting all GTK2 stuff to GTK3, and unfortunately I will not have time to get back to gmoccapy bevore April.

Thank you for your quick response.

I am sorry, I forgot to indicate the version.
The version of Gmoccapy is 3.0.9.1

I don't know which branch it is, but I guess it's the Master branch because I downloaded the disk image for Raspberry Pi 4 directly from the LinuxCNC site and just did an "apt update" and "apt upgrade".

Even if it is not for now, can we expect a correction of the problem?
In the meantime, what do you suggest?

Have you changes the font type or font size size in the desktop environment?
Try to reduce the size and test.
