messages wrong display

Hi , after updating to gtk3 , the gmoccay will not display the messages from the ini file corectly as the pango library is missing
is there another way to be done?
MESSAGE_TEXT = The Air supply <span background="#ff0000" foreground="#ffffff">FAIL</span>
MESSAGE_TYPE = status
MESSAGE_PINNAME = air_fail

This shouldn't be an issue anymore, right?
