Well I found those wires, but I can not get the drive to enable. There has to be some more wires that need hooked up. I noticed on Skunkworks build he has an ena+ and ena- hooked up on his mesa board.

You always need to use the 7I77s ENA+ and ENA- together
since they are two connections to a switch

Correct.... to what on the drive is my issue. In his picture he has them hooked up to the original wiring for the drives. I am not sure which pins on the original connector for the machine he used on his.

Once I find these wires then I can do some testing before I order my mesa boards.

Picture attached is skunkworks wiring on his board.

Awesome!!

The drive manuals have the pinouts. That is what we used. Make sure the encoders are 5v and not 12v. (some of the older ones had 12v encoders)

I have the manual for the drive. I also have 5v encoders thank goodness.

I am not sure which wires to use on the drive. I have found the analog lines (thanks tommylight) , but from there I can not seem to find the additional wires need to enable the drive.

Analog is pin 7 and 13
Servo on is pin 1

Have to missing something else to enable the drive though. Also is the servo on pin + and what voltage?

I cannot look right now - but I assume I hooked the other end of the enable (pin 1) to ground. (pin 16-19) on p1

Just check pins 16-19 and they are at ground already. The servo on (pin1) do you remember the voltage use on that pin?

Seems that the servo ready pin (4) needs used also I would think. Not sure of the voltage needed for that either.

Manufacture has been ok for help but they jump around the questions. One wrong wire and I will lose a drive so I am very cautious on this one.

servo ready is an output from the drive.

Ok.. I see that now. Thank you

Then I should just need servo on (pin1) connected to ? voltage and the drive should enable and I can send it a small voltage from my bench top supply to check movement.

Right now if I send voltage to the analog then the IN led will turn on showing signal in. No movement though so seems like the drive is not being enabled.
