Hansu, thank you.

This is a HAL file.
I haven't touched anything in particular.

Unfortunately I don't have a parallel port on my computer to test with, so it breaks for me at the line
Code:
loadrt hal_parport cfg="0 out"
in my-mill.hal.
But if I set this line to e.g.
Code:
loadrt hal_parport cfg="0xcc00 out"
I can start gmoccapy with only complaining about not finding the parallel port.
Maybe you check your parallel port address with
Code:
lspci -v
?

I tried to change the part of the HAL file, but I still got an error.

The perport address is 378.
I tried 0x378 on that part, but I got an error.

It may not be relevant, but "sim-gmoccapy" also fails.

There is no error in axsis.

I'm sorry. What is the gmoccapy configuration?

When I open Gmoccapy, an error window appears and the Gmoccapy screen appears, but it closes after a while.

I have removed the LINUX CNC package and reinstalled it.
...(Nothing changed.)

I found the criminal!

Desktop environment : kdeconnectd

I switched my desktop to xfce and Gmoccapy started without any problems.
Is this a compatibility issue?

I can finally sleep.

Yes that might be a problem with the icon theme. Gmoccapy currently uses the gtk icon names. So if no Gtk/Gnome compatible icon theme is installed the icon cannot be found and that error is displayed.
The master branch (2.9 prerelease) will use very soon the icon names of the freedesktop specification, that will avoid this problem (PeterMue is working on that).

Thanks to you, I was able to safely avoid the error by installing gnome-icon-theme.
