Nativecam Embedded for Ubuntu 12.04 RTAI Linuxcnc

I did installed Nativecam to Debian 9 rt preemptive Linuxcnc 2.7.14 successfully. Thanks for your hard work.

The rt preemptive need a faster cpu. I usually use Ubuntu 12.04 RTAI.

When I install the deb to my Ubuntu Linuxcnc, embedded does not work. Stand alone version, when I call up Nativecam,
no ini file found, and the Linuxcnc tool table does not reflect to Nativecam.

Please see if I can use Ubuntu in stead of Debian.

ncam --tab does not work, -t works

Debian 9 linuxcnc 2.7.14

Make a shell script to call linuxcnc and ncam. Working with Debian and Ubuntu, no need to fight with tab any more.

Are you saying you wrote a script for that or you want me to do it ?
I do not know scripting language and can not learn how to do it now, sorry.

I just edit startncan.sh that is

linuxcnc linuxcnc/configs/ncam/ncam.ini & ncam -i linuxcnc/configs/ncam/ncam.ini -c mill &

made it executable

It will call up linuxcnc and ncam side by side. Debian and Ubuntu
