Roughing Cycle for NCAM and/or Linux (i.e. G71, G72) was created by Barry
Does anyone know how to accomplish roughing tasks G71 & G72 on a lathe because it appears that neither LinuxCNC nor NCAM have this built in capability. Is there a subroutine already written to accomplish this task that can be downloaded and/or shared for use with NCAM?
I found a "Plug-in/patch" for Linux to add G71 capability at www.bpuk.org/linuxcnc/
but I'm a little hesitant to try it since it was last updated in 2012. Has anyone tried and used it successfully recently?
Thank you in advance,
Barry

This is all i could find on the net for that subject, as it was mentioned here a while back. Those are only links to LinuxCNC.org site.
