Have pictures of the motor setups on the machine? Those are fairly small motors for their frame size, I have Nena 34 1200ozin for my Z and 640ozin nema34 on X, (to keep it short rather than really long and skinny). Guessing you were after the same thing?

I had to design my own kit as there wasn't one that I found available, but it is similar except I direct drive both my axis. I have attached some pictures. I bet the z axis could be made similar to avoid the need for such a specialized motor like you have had to use. Some pictures below.

Still Keeping the Lathe I took a Break from it due to a PCNC 1100 Arrival and Construction (Expanding Garage) Still Waiting on Cabinetry... Have the lighting installed 15 LED Fixtures. I gave in to temptation and booted up the 1100 and had to draw my name with a sharpie...
