Upgrading to PathPilot 2.0

Hello to all,

I have been trying to upgrade to Pathpilot 2.0 but have been unsuccessful. Is there anyone that can explain the steps on upgrading to 2.0.

From what? Tormach or mesa cards with linuxcnc

I have a non Tormach lathe setup with 5i25 and 7i76 install and I'm currently running PathPilot V 1.9. I want to upgrade to V 2.0 or later.

To upgrade you need to purchase the USB stick from Tormach as they have changed the version completely. It is a bootable stick basically the stick has a drive image on it, I would do it on a new ssd drive and work from there by copying the hal and ini files over and putting the mesa bit file in the mesa folder on the new system..

I have the USB stick from Tormach with 2.0 on it. I am interested in the steps to get it running since it is different from pre 2.0.

You don't say if you have flashed the new drive image onto your drive with the usb stick. I would flash it onto a fresh drive or keep a copy of your old config folder.
