5i25 dpll timer-number syntax was created by rafferty
The
HOSTMOT2 man page
gives the syntax for specifying the dpll timer number for encoders and stepgens as
but the PathPilot hal files that mention a dpll omit the encoder and stepgen instance number, "MM". Also "timer-number" use is inconsistent with the man page "timer-num"
Is there some default instance numbering going on that I've missed or is the man page incorrect?
(s32 r/w) hm2_XiXX.N.encoder.MM.timer−num (default: −1)
setp hm2_[HOSTMOT2](BOARD).0.encoder.timer-number [HOSTMOT2](DPLL_TIMER_NUMBER)
setp hm2_[HOSTMOT2](BOARD).0.stepgen.timer-number [HOSTMOT2](DPLL_TIMER_NUMBER)
Is there some default instance numbering going on that I've missed or is the man page incorrect?

The "MM" i and timer-num token in the hostmot2 manual page are incorrect,
it should be:
hm2_XiXX.N.encoder.timer−number
(and same format for the stepgen, SSI, BISS, and Fanuc encoders interfaces)
it should be:
hm2_XiXX.N.encoder.timer−number
(and same format for the stepgen, SSI, BISS, and Fanuc encoders interfaces)
