Pathpilot v2 install to non tormach lathe

i installed pathpilot and got to only boot to desktop
i want to use a parallel port card not a mesa.
im using mx3660 stepper driver from tormach 440 mill.
i have it wired for mach3 and want to switch to pathpilot.
can someone help me setup this config
i have converted a 7x10 lathe to cnc with ball screw on z axis and original screw lead for x axis and have homing switchs for both x and z.
