PathPilot V2 VMware

How do I install PathPilot V2 USB to a VMware virtual machine?

I can't get a VMware BIOS to see a USB stick to do the install.

you have to enable UEFI support in the VMWare instance

From memory I used plop or similar with virtual box. Im relatively certain I figured that out with the help of the googles.

Thanks for the input but I've not got very far on this.
Don't know if the USB stick is UEFI or MBR, my shed linux boot select screen shows both UEFI and MBR options and both work.
VMware won't boot the USB stick in either UEFI or Legacy mode.
We (computer guru son and me) spent many hours trying to convert the PathPilot USB stick to an ISO with genisoimage. 
At the end we had an ISO almost loading the R-Drive menu but we were both well and truly over it by then and gave up.
We'll go back to it and try again but I'm going to have ago at installing PathPilot V2 on a spare drive and using qemu to make a VMware vmdk  file out of it. 
  
I've had a quick look at plop and plop boot manager and there might be something there. I'll download it and have ago - but not for a day or two.

 

I’ll try to take a look some time this week after work and see if I can remember what I did, and make a quick tutorial.

For sure I used virtual box though. I’ve not had a ton of luck with VMware.
