If PathPilot reference to the screw compensation feature of lcnc then yes, I couldn't do without it. Both accuracy and linearity yields significant improvements, borderline vital for an open loop positioning tool.

From variable backlash (depending on position), and screw error, now down to +/- 5um accuracy consistently across the-whole-screw.

Do it. Recommend.
