regmap was created by Cyber
I need to inquire about the variability of regmaps across different models. Specifically, I've noticed that the xsTech router machine I currently have utilizes memory locations that differ from the standard model.Could you please confirm whether regmaps indeed vary between models? Any insights or clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know all the Mesa firmwares use the same regmap.
If that is what you are asking.
It is possible that Tormach are using custom firmwares, but that would cause unnecessary driver incompatibilities.

I think Tormach has some interface hardware the uses a microcontroller
implementation of hostmot2. This may well have a different register
map, or at least different addresses. Different register addresses would not
require a driver change.
