Hello Peeps,
Need some advice
I'm looking in to the Ohmic Sensing schematic, linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/plasma/plas...r.html#ohmic-sensing , and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the relays that I should used, I'm in the States.
Thanks.

I use Relays from RS Components Part number 888-6843
A few people are using opto22 modules

Hi Rod,
follow up question
the field power (24VCD)
digital input
0V
Digital output (24VCD)
where do these go? just need some clarification.

(digital input) That is a input to the controller.
(filed power mesa) =====> switch =======> input (mesa)
(digital output) That is an output from the controller.
output (mesa) =====> + side of relay coil, - side relay coil ======> com (mesa field power)
I think Rod uses mesa. Thats how the mesa I/O works.

Thank you bevins,
I'm using a mesa 7i96 board.

The same connections should work with a 7I96 using the 7I96s isolated inputs
as long as the isolated input common is ground
7I96 outputs are basically just switches so for example
+24V ==> 7I96 OUT+
7I96 OUT- ==> RELAY+
RELAY- ==>GND

When you run the Plasmac configurator, you tell it which inputs and outputs that coincide with your setup.
