Recommendations?

Thanks

I assume you're loading PlasmaC on top? There's a picture of what each looks like in the beginning of the PlasmaC user guide. I very much prefer Axis.

Otherwise, people using touch screens seem to prefer Gmoccapy. I find it difficult to navigate, but some seem to love it. Personal preference I guess.

To answer your question, there's no real performance difference to be gained by either.

One thing to consider is that Phill is working on a dedicated GUI for PlasmaC (Called QTPlasmaC). At some point after it's released development for Axis and Gmoccapy will stop. I should mention it will be based on 2.9 though.

Thanks, I’ll start with Axis as the base(?) for PlasmaC.
Table is done as well as the Z axis. Need to finish X and Y as well as wire the beast. And about a million other things.

Gmoccappy is only a winner if you have a touch screen. Its a bit convoluted for Plasma with too many tabs to select but it is touch friendly.

I very much like Phil's new QTplasmaC and have run it as a SIM. Its pretty much able to be used now so when I have a spare weekend, I was going to give it a try on my plasma
