Spent a couple of days to build a tool to nest G-code files for QtPlasmaC.

This is for you that do the plasma G-code in Fusion, for example.
Read in the G-code, read in many, place it on steel sheet.
Add your own shapes for cutting in the tool.
Automatic nesting to pack them on the sheet.
Seamlessly open in preview-window for cutting.
Use the laser on the torch to trace the available steel sheet.
Integrated in QtPlasmaC or as a standalone program on any python-capable computer.

Read the full description  github.com/MetalMusings/PlasmaNest
Get the code from there in the usual git way.

Add one line in the INI file and you have it inside QtPlasmaC as a tab.
Add another line, in the hal file, and it fully replaces the CONVERSATIONAL tab in QtPlasmaC.
To trace the available cutting area there are a few more things to do, read on github.
