dm17ry. Perhaps a fork from LinuxCNC? LinuxPnP? Those video's look great by the way. I have a PnP at work that I am trying to convert to OpenPnP , unfortunately the recommended motion controller (Smoothie Board) is hard to come by right now . Too bad I don't know near enough about Linuxcnc yet.

thanks. my project is nowhere near as comprehensive as OpenPNP and i seriously doubt i will have resources to make it evolve into something usable by others. still need a few essential things to add to my machine. when i finally make the hardware maybe i will get some inspiration to continue with the software. will see. :) for now, the code i use is on the github at github.com/yur7aev/linuxpnp
not sure if it is of any use for anyone though :)

the smoothie bord is only 4parports so you can do that with a simple 7i96 or 7i92+BOB
or as the smoothie also only ads pins no axis use the 7i76e to get your pins

dm17ry if you want to see another PnP machine not using OpenPnP check out my build in the Show your stuff section. Look for Manncorp ECM93 Pick and Place.
