Not come across SaaSS, but will take at look at the link.

The file opens in the Edgecam post editor so I have something to play with.

Got it, yes I'm also not a fan.
Just scanning the pages, it looks to me like the cnc-apps are mainly 2D
I'm kind of dyed in the wool solid modeller so wed to tools that are completely OTT to the actual work being done, but its a comfort zone.
