Thanks! I have not tested how the sampling frequency effects performance. It should be possible to get quite good resolution with a balance of overhead.

Below is an example of why I wanted to develop the HalPlot widget. PID tuning visualisation. This is a plot of a very out of tune PID loop for my 3D printer temperature control.

PS. Anyone know how to get XFCE to look like KDE Plasma? I love the styling of QtPyVCP in KDE. It just looses a bit on XFCE running on Arch Linux on the RPi.

The only thing this does is allow the plot to be embedded in the UI as a persistent feature. No need to open Halscope, select pins to watch etc etc.
The widget is definitely less flexible than Halscope.

Hi, I've just pushed my latest M codes to my GitHub repo. Note if you are not using ArchLinux you'll need to change the python2 at the top to plain old python.
