Hello,

I have a Laser-Probe that can touch X and Z axis.
Z axis probing works nice but how can I configure the X axis configuration ?

Thanks

going to need some more information on exactly what you are trying to do and some pictures of the physical probing setup. the current diameter probing subroutine is not tested on machine yet, at least by me, but it is more designed for a physical contact probe that has step over and touch the side of a actively rotating tool to measure its diameter. but I am sure a subroutine could be written for a laser probe if you could spell out the physical process of what you need.

Hello,
the picture in my first post, shows that a subroutine is included. At least that's what I thought.
But I think a Laser- Probe routine is the same thing than a Renishaw OTS routine only the size of the probing button different. The Laser works like a physical contact.

The tool should move from one side to the laser -- than it moves up-- to the other side of the laser beam --- move down and probes again. Now only the thickness of the laser beam has to be subtracted
