There is no useful info on those screenshots, we need the "debug" part of the error, or sometimes just above it.

ImportError: No module named PyQt5
There is no PyQt5 or an older version is installed and can not be used.
Try this, it did work on Mint perfectly.
Since you did not provide us with what version of Mint, not sure if it will work for you.

moved this to its own thread since it is not for Debian basic install, don't want to confuse others looking for answers on the basic Debian installation. I am not familiar with mint at all, so I'm not going to be much help, but if you are trying to install probe basic py2 version from the above referenced doc in linuxcnc you are going to have issues as that version is Py2 and linuxcnc 2.9 master is py3 and they are not compatible.
