JT, that is a good one for Turboss, something stands out in memory as making it difficult, is there a reason you wouldn't go to Buster?

Actually I was able to copy all the stuff that looked like I might need it from .local then resolved all the dependencies. The HD refused to boot but I was able to copy all of my home folder from it to another HD.

Old hardware runs better on old OS's

My Hardinge CHNC still runs on Ubuntu 10.04, my Discovery 308 still has a 386 mb...
