Keeping Probe Basic in Background Persistently? was created by tightmopedman9
Is there a way to configure, hopefully temporarily, Probe Basic to stay in the background, so that other applications will persistently stay visible in front? I'd like to do some work with HAL oscilloscope, and HAL meter, but it is very frustrating, and impossible?, to keep multiple windows visible in front of Probe Basic. This might just be a basic Linux problem, so sorry if the answer is very basic, but I haven't been able to find a way to do it.

Right-click on the upper edge of the scope window where the window name is, choose "always on top".

Unfortunately that doesn't work. When the option is selected the window will stay in front of all other windows, except for the Probe Basic window.

To add to this, the calibration window doesn't appear when clicked on from the drop down menu within Probe Basic.

Maybe run PB and the other tools on separate desktops?
