xyzab to xyzac

How to convert the B axis to the C axis? Including pictures. The default is XYZAB. I need XYZAC.

Good question, I will take a look tomorrow,  but I think it's just a matter of changing the dro and jog button axis designator in the ui, and adjusting the offsets table display option in the custom config yml file.  And of course your ini setup for the correct machine configuration.  I haven't built a 5th axis yet so it got backburnered and forgotten. /o\

My machine is xyzac, the a-axis rotates around the x-axis, the c-axis rotates around the z-axis, and the Probe Basic is xyzab
 
 

i just pushed all of the changes to use C for the 5th axis, if you are installed with apt using the very latest you should be able to run an apt update and have the latest version that should give you what you need!

Can we make two sets of configurations to allow users to choose whether the fifth axis is the C axis or the B axis?
Also, can we replace the image in custom_probebasic.py?

No need it's all done via the ini settings automatically now, it's up and running all sorted out! Enjoy

I just tested it. Changing the fifth axis to B or C axis will also change the corresponding picture. Perfect, great
