Rack Tool Changer

Here I have a macro, I don't know if it is useful for the work you are talking about

the macros will be very specific to probe basic. the setup of it is done inside the ui to try an make it as simple as possible for those using a stationary rack. the graphic requires some IO to show the tools in the rack also. it would require alteration for a moving rack such as yours. but thank you for the offer!

That's awesome it is moving forward.
I'm not in a huge hurry at the moment but I'll probably be pretty interested in testing out the dev branch once it's available.

Unfortunately I have confirmed that especially the projects I would be most interested in using my rack with will need some real chip protection. So I need to design some kind of pneumatic, electric, solenoid powered cover or something like that. So it would be kind of a novelty till I get that implemented. Hopefully I can pull that together pretty soon though.

Hay Chris. Not sure if you have seen these for rack tool changers. rapidchangeatc.com/product-category/er20-magazines/ For routers they can make it easy to add rack tool changing but need a slightly interesting macro.

I am not sure i can see how to do a PM but if i remember correctly you are in NZ if so let me know if you are interested in playing as could bring one when i come back down under in a couple of weeks if you have an ER collet machine.
