Probebasic tool length calculation was created by tsaG
Hi,
I am using my ATC spindle with a tool setter. Z0 is at the top of the machine.
The Spindle Nose is probed at -202mm (so, entered as 202mm in the GUI).
When probing the tool (measured with a caliper to be around 57mm), it triggers at around -145mm. However, the GUI reports it as 120mm Long. Is there something I can tweak?

Songs like you still have a tool length offset active while probing

Hmm. Strange. Could you remind me on how to change this?
All I did was Start Linux CNC, Power the machine, home it, insert the tool (either via rack ATC or manual) and probe the length.
BTW: In which repo would I commit changes to? I saw that there are two Github repos, but ( I assume its yours) is rather old whereas the changes in kcjengr is only half a year old.

Just remove any current tool length offset.
Kcjengr is correct.
