I have an issue with embedding camview in Axis where the window doesn't fill the tab.
If I resize with the handle at the bottom right then it resizes the video but the wind stays the original size.
I tried the -m and -g options that I saw in Gladevcp but it made no difference.
I does seem to work correctly in Gmoccapy.

I have not been successful getting embedded object to resize properly.
It's annoying as in qt4 it worked perfectly.
But you can set the size of the window shown in AXIS by setting the size of the camview window in designer.
copy the cam_align.ui file to your config folder then open it in designer.
adjust the size by dragging the corner then resave.
