Tool offset status label was created by persei8
When I enter offset values in the tool table or the offset table, the tool offset status label does not change. It is always 0.0. I have the index value set to 5, which is the Z offset in tool info. What exactly does the tool offset status label indicate?

It gives the tool offset of the current tool.
use index_number to pick the axis 0=x 1=y etc.

Aha, so the index refers to the machine axis, not the index in the tool table. Also, G43 has to be active. Thank you.
