Chris,
I had my production machine set to use Python3. In doing so, when I launched QtPlasmaC, I received a lot of errors surrounding the "print" statements added in this commit: github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/commit/0236...4f2c1321afaa62172740
The attached qt_action.diff shows what I had to change to get it to working again. I would just create a PR to make it easy on you, but I am not sure if they were debug statements that weren't intended to make the final product. Easy thing to do (experience speaking)
