Gui message while homing with shared home/limit swiches

I gave you working example.
You only have to remove from your config unnecessary stuff and replace parport pin by mesa pin.
But you see only that is one line not many...

thanx, but I already had a working solution to my "problem" so didnt actually need your help by that time. I guess i am obviously an idiot because i didn't fall all over myself thanking you, and using your solution rather than the one i worked hard at figuring out while not knowing anything about HAL or Linuxcnc.

That seems likely since there must be 1000's of LinuxCNC installations using
shared home/limits and this is the first time I've seen this complaint.

just FYI, I moved this configuration off the RPI-4 onto a new computer (fresh installation from the released ISO) and still get the same. Figures I would be the only one to have this "issue". Am I the only one using QtDragon? cant be, as it is a very cool GUI.

It's more likely the bogus message comes from hal_glib library watching the limits switches without knowing about shared homing use.
