Very cool, I take it you run a plasma cutting business?

Nope, i build machines. :)
Although i am thinking about it, i have 3 new and a used Plasma, and 2 new and a used granite engraver/scratcher collecting dust.
I do 3D printing on demand, but not much demand, like once every 2 or 3 months!

Might have to ship a plasma to USA, any idea how to go about it and how much would that set me back?

Now that's a gig! I build niche machines on the smaller side myself for industrial applications but it's few and far in between

I've imported machines when I was a plant engineer but it last I did that was like 10 years ago. On my side as the importer I would use a broker to handle getting it on a boat and then getting it off the port and onto a truck. I'm pretty friendly with a Canadian machine manufacturer who probably knows alot more about shipping equipment than I do. I can ask him about it if you want.

Tommy, you just need to find a good freight forwarder. He will handle everything and tell you what you need to do.
he'll organise a container and you fill it with machines and off it goes...
You could use mine but I'm on the wrong side of the world...

Rod, i did check some stuff online, was quoted 3200-3800$ just to get a 110KG box sized 3.5x0.8x0.8 meters from the ship to a truck outside the port. Should be lower as there are no customs in USA for stuff made here, but that requires a lot of paperwork. And my brother is not interested at all in using it, to complicated for him.
