Yes, the networking part, we were misled badly and chased our tails by having the laptop wired to the console while the network required for file transfers was at the back of the main electronics cabinet! That is 6 hours i will never get back! I kept wondering why W2K has an IP set and the Mazak software has another IP set...now i know.
So now it can be used properly with the laptop, but i would still like to be able to use it without the laptop attached since i already figured out how to copy stuff to it, so i will report the exact model when they get back from Germany in a few days.
Thank you very much for everything.

I am unclear. Does this cut laser tubes, or cut tubes using a laser?

Initially I assumed the former, but looking at it, I think it's the latter?

It cuts metal pipes/tubes/profiles using a 4KW laser.
Sorry if i was unclear.
I will fix the tittle now, thank you for pointing it out.

@ErrickW
Here is the exact controller model/type.
Thank you.

Now they have another issue that i think it is a safety feature, not an issue:
- when the left side is a straight cut, unloading works properly
- when there is any angle on the left side, even 4 degree tested, it will not unload, the left most spindle will not move at all
That is all the info i have so far, advised them to do a test cut where the angle is on the right side with the left side left straight, i have a feeling it will unload, but waiting till tomorrow for the result.

Thank you Erick, i just talked to them and everything is OK, the left side angled not unloading is a safety feature as i thought, so the idea of leaving a straight cut in front of it with small tabs worked like a charm.
And we do have a pallet of manuals, mostly in Italian language and mostly not exactly for this machine as the pictures show the old version of the software, but still they did help a lot initially.
Again, thank you very much, i do appreciate the offer.
