No.Is it possible to configure EMC to use absolute coordinates on XYZ axis, and relative coordinates on U axis?
However, I can think of an inelegant way to do it with search-and-replace in the G-code as the XYZ ABCUVWare available in #5nnn parameters, so you could search and replace all U nnn with U[ nnn - #5nnn]
