Hi
If you want a DRO visible, you can always use 3 number display widgets in a pyvcp panel and net them to Xpos, Ypos, Zpos

First you might read about the net command and signals here:
www.linuxcnc.org/docs/2.7/html/hal/basic-hal.html
Then read about the display widgets here:
www.linuxcnc.org/docs/2.7/html/gui/pyvcp.html
So for example if you had a signal named xpos (you would have to look at your configuration to see what the actual name is) then you could net that signal to a number display reader. Look at the diagram in the basic hal chapter.
