I did not get it to work. At the time I was new to linuxcnc. It's a lot to take in. Most of the replies I got were not helpful. The goto response here is "Did you read the manual?" I ended up making three M100 codes to change the gears and just called it out in the gcode. I sold that machine a long time ago. I have searched but cannot find any files on it to help you. I have made a few comps sense and I'm sure this comp will work with some effort. After you get it to compile add it your Hal file (loadrt ebox) and don't forget to make it servo thread. (addf ebox servo-thread). Run linuxcnc and then you should be able to see the pin names in the show Hal. Now just connect the pins and set the parameters.

Thanks for the reply , I had thought about doing it through m codes , not a huge deal since I'm the only person running the lathe , and my cam software has the option for gear changes, I appricate you having a look for the files for me.
