Compiling kinematics module in 2.7 was created by bigrig
Hi group!
I have a running system with2.4 with a custom 5-axis XXYYZZBC kinematics configuration.
Now I am really interested in trying the "new trajectory planner", so I have made a clean new install with 2.6 and upgraded to 2.7.
The libraries are different from 2.4 so I dont understand where and how to compile my kinematics.c file to get my system up and running.
Can someone please help me?
/Lars

I don't know much about the subject, but I do know that "comp" was renamed "halcompile". Did you catch that little tidbit when you tried to compile your kins?

You have not said what you did in 2.4, so hard to tell exactly.
As Todd said, this is probably what you are missing
www.linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/hal/comp.html
(even though the doc name is the same, the command has changed)
