Been deading doing these type of machines. Have converted the p2p machines to vac table nested one area machines, now this customer wants his machine to operate the same way.
So my first question is can i have a button two programs loaded, and pun one button it sets work offset and runs the program and when it is done push another button and set work offset to say 54.1and run that file.
Second issue is mirroring whats in area a cut in area d.
Has anyone worked on machine like this?

LinuxCNC can only have one program loaded at a time and can only run one program at a time.
Which is not to say that a GUI couldn't give the impression that there were two programs loaded.
I think that mirroring is best done in a G-code pre-processor rather than my reversing an axis. Reversing an axis is possible, but is likely to end up clunky and error-prone.
