Well it does not work.
I tried it again 1 minute ago.

If it works as you mentioned, this is what I'm looking for.
I need it to operate as it now does and end up where ever after 5-axis operation.
But when i call c0. it would find closest way to 0 position.

"You don't want 360 and 720 to be exactly the same"
Some of our clients machines work this way, I don't see any issues with it.
I just needed to do post that can handle it.
Machine was Mikron HPM 800 , with iTNC530 control.

There are several different ways to handle rotary axis:
Okuma uses M codes for rotation direction and axis values are 0-360.

Some uses magnitude to control rotation direction, some uses sign (+-) for same thing.

Could it be cause I'm running 2.8 pre.
where joint and axis are separated and this functionality was not included?

Which version of LinuxCNC are you using, and where dos you add the WRAPPED_ROTARY line?

I just set up a simulator with A-axis as WRAPPED_ROTARY and B-axis as normal.

G91 G0 A810 B810 => both motor-pos-cmd pins = 810
G90 G0 A-0 B-0 => joint.3.motor-pos-cmd = 720, joint.4.motor-pos-cmd = 0.

So it does work. Are you testing with an actual rotary? The wrapped rotary will show 0 on the DRO even though the motor-pos-cmd is 720.

I just tested it on 2.8.

WRAPPED_ROTARY has to go in the [AXIS] section. (Which I think is probably wrong..)

Magic word was [AXIS] section.
I had it in [JOINT] section.

Yes, Im running Nikken 5ax120, for C axis i need this.

It work as I like it.
Sing determines rotation direction and degrees are from 0 to 360.
With this one I can live with.
Thanks
