Vismach - Add toolchange simulation was created by ross_dev
Hi
Reading through the docs for vismach, there's a section at the bottom that says
Did anyone manage to implement these? I Am particularly interested in the tool change visualisation but material removal would also be extremely useful.
Cheers

Ideas
a gui function to import further .stl or .obj files while running the script => change tool, vise or working piece when running the software
machine simualtion of cutting: function to remove material from defined geometry
Did anyone manage to implement these? I Am particularly interested in the tool change visualisation but material removal would also be extremely useful.
Cheers

That would be cool. As far as I know nobody has tried it, or if they have they didn't report it here.
If you can figure out the Vismach source code, then feel free to have a go
