VFD hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.spinout

I'm so excited how my machine runs actually, I want to go further, but my brain is saturated.
one thing left for now, spindle speed.

basic config including spindle control created with pncconf, then done some tweaks.
After pncconf the spindle didn't move at all.
in custom HAL I tried then

net spindle-vel-cmd-rpm-abs => hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.spinout
net spindle-enable => hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.spinena
net spindle-ccw => hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.spindir

I can control my VFD fwd/bkwd from axis but have some issues with velocity.

not sure how hal should be wired correctly
spindle-vel-cmd-rpm-abs gives me values up to xxx in 100 increments.
On the first click on the spindle speed + in axis my spindle runs at full speed.

I disconnected
hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.spinout
and set some values with setp in halcmd
spindle runs at a value of 50 on hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.spinout with max speed

someone has some link or idea how to do it the right way.

You need to set the spindle scaling:
for example if your spindle RPM is 5000 RPM full scale, you would set

setp hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.spinout-maxlim 5000

setp hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.spinout-scalemax 5000

(this is likely set in the ini file if you have a pncconf generate ini/hal file set)
