Connect alarm output from stepper driver cl57

Hello I can't find this out, how to connect alarm output from driver , i have trying to measure the alm+ - whwn i force a arlarm,  but cant get a reading that make sense

 

Think of the alarm output like a switch.  You supply voltage+ to the ALM+, and the ALM- to your LCNC input (for a sinking input).  Use whatever voltage your LCNC input device needs.

When the drive is in alarm status, the switch is closed and the LCNC input will see voltage.

This may be programmable in the drive to be reversed (i.e. non-alarm state = switch closed / voltage passing).
