Do you have a stock 7I92?
It could be 7I92T related but I doubt it since it works here

I take that back, the earlier 7I92T firmware with the /frame output works
but the 3a version does not
Do you have a 7I92 to test with, There looks to be a problems with the
BSPI firmware on the 7I92T after I made the DBSPI (decoded) /BSPI (non-decoded) merge
but the 3a version does not

I never thought I'd be so happy to hear something doesn't work, I can stop tearing stuff up now lol.
No I don't have a 7i92, I only have the 7i92th with modified headers.

Try this firmware:
I thought I had weeded them out but there were some left over
Xilinx-isms in the bufferedspi firmware module.

BTW, small request. Since the firmware makes it's way into the mesanet archive any chance you can name it ST-PnP-BoB or something? I have all my stuff for this in a git repo GPL2. Not sure anyone who may look for it will find it as blazini.

It must be my lucky day....
I checked the site for the mini-PC manufacturer and they had a newer bios, didn't think it would help but couldn't hurt.....
No issues with 1ms servo-thread now (was running 2ms and getting complaints about realtime delays). I haven't done any tweaking yet and the bios is pretty limited but I can live with 1ms if I can't get it any better.

I can't find any info suggesting SPI lines should be driven externally , though it probably won't hurt to have resistor footprints on the PCB

I have to revise the PCB again at some point, do you suggest I use pulldown resistors on the SPI lines (besides enabling the 4.7k networks on the 7i92)?Does the pin list linuxcnc prints at startup look reasonable?
Are the CS and SCLK pins driven? (pull down with a 1K resistor)
