I assigned Joint 0 for the X-axis, Joint 1 for the Y-axis, Joint 2 for the Z-axis, Joint 3 for the A-axis, and Joint 4 for the B-axis. I have attached my Hal file for your reference.

Verified that this works here:
7I96s_5abobd.bin firmware
stepgen 9 set to velocity mode, enabled and maxaccel set to 1000
(so direction changes will be quick)
Set commanded velocity to a negative value:
Stepgen 9 DIR (DB25 pin 17 = HDR26 pin
is high
Set commanded velocity to a positive value:
Stepgen 9 DIR (DB25 pin 17 = HDR26 pin
is low

Thank you very much. My problem has been resolved; I discovered that I used the wrong pin. Your hint helped me realize that I had connected the wire to the incorrect pin.image missing /media/kunena/emoticons/silly.png
