How to use partport with axis_9axis.ini file? was created by ngocthanh03
Dear all EMC2 user,
I'm a new member.
I try use EMC2,
My question, how can I configure parallel port to work with axis_9axis in sim folder of EMC2,
I see it can run X,Y,Z A,B,C , U,V,W but I dont know how can I out put the step/dir signal by parallel (partport).
I tried mody the file axis_9axis.ini in ~emc/sim folder by adding line "HALFILE = standard_pinout.hal " ( I copied this file from xyza table folder to sim folder), but after that i can not run axis_9axis, EMC2 is interrupted with a lots of message when starting up.
Thank all, sorry about my English.
I'm a newbie, if I place my post in wrong box, please move my post to anywhere more suitable !

I'm totally new to EMC2 ,
I'm waiting for any idea.
Infact, i'm familiar with some windows CNC software( such as Mach3). But they don't have U, V, W axis.
I need EMC2 because it has U, V, W axis.
Or anyone know: how can I change from system X,Y,Z,A to X,Y,Z,U, please guide me.
