It isn't especially difficult in theory. The problems in that thread were because I typed the HAL out from memory without access to a working machine.
I am almost certain that using HAL and software will be easier than adding extra hardware such as a prox and a stop dog.

I think using closed loop is too complex for me. I don't know hal config well. I set my machine using pncconf. I'm thinking to do something more simple. Use fixed frequency and brake cc in the inverter.

Ok.
Could you show me the hal config you used to set your machine.
I will try understand.

The HAL in that thread I pointed to is likely to be more appropriate. The Youtube demo was very much an experiment, and there wasn't even an M19 command in LinuxCNC at that time.
What hardware are you using? That will very much affect the pin names. Attach your HAL and INI files and I will try to set up something close to workable.

Do you control the spindle with a PWM from the 7i43? Do you have a spindle encoder?
Please attach HAL and INI as requested.

So my vfd use 0-10v frequency reference, maybe i will need build a pwm to 0-10v converter. I did try run yet.
About the encoder, i have two options, quadrature and ttl 2500 ppr.
What is better?
I will sent the files later now i'm working.

I am a bit confused now.
Looking at the HAL file you don't seem to have any spindle control at all?
At the moment it looks like LinuxCNC can't even turn the spindle on, and there is no hint of a spindle encoder connection?

Yes i did not do yet, i dont know how to config it. I did not know that was possible control asyncronous motor with a vfd that way.
