Hello
I have found this old bulgarian cnc milling machine for 1500 euros.
It has some problem with electronics..
Is suitable for retrofiting ?
Can you reply me quickly because i must buy it before other one get it.

I think you can better leave the machine over there. It has to be disambled and totally rebuild if you want to get money.
It leaks oil....
300 euro i would try it.

oils maybe is cutting fluid oil.. What do you think about that?
The machine is more than 2 tons and gives me with it 10 iso50 toolholders.
I have not access to machine to inspect it because it is far away from me.
Servo drivers in these machines (from 1990s) accept analog +-10V ?

If you give it at scrap metals they give 450 euros sold as iron.
So he will not give me the machine for 300 because scrap shops give to owner 450 sold as iron by kilos.
I think i will buy it comes with 12 iso50 tool holders and motors are ok.
i will try to reduce the price to 1000 but iam not sure if the owner accept that...

I would make the time to go inspect it. Bring and indicator and check play on all axis even if it doesn't power up. Check spindle too. You should be able to get an idea of the condition it's in. May or may not be worth getting.

Cost to go for inspection is the same as machine so it is impossible..

Bridgeport is nice to have. It is used in world war 2.
This one 1000 pounds on ebay..

I would take the deckel looking thing over a non cnc'd Bridgeport. Any machine with the ballscrews already fitted is key.

Actually, looking at the deckel like mill pictures again, I don't see a shaft coming out of the table? Screw missing or just burried in the casting?Where is the x axis motor?
