Finally done with rewriting my tool touch off scripts. I use the W offset to set the offset for large tools. So I can run them off center and in reverse.

Hi Patrick,
could you please write me what needs to be changed in INI probe basic file for correctly displays and works in mm units instead of inches? Thanks a lot. Marek

As tommylight said you need to set the linear_units in the INI to mm
Above I attached my whole config for my machine here a link again:
forum.linuxcnc.org/media/kunena/attachme...829/IgorProbe.tar.gz
You need to keep n mind if you want to have the display working in mm you need set set up the whole machine in metric units

Since the Machine is running well except for some minor issues:
mesa card sometimes doesn't answer I din't figure out what's the problem after four or five tries ist works well.
and the Encoders sometimes loose signal, then i'ts time to wiggle some cables and the it works again.
I wil do some milling in the next time, so I addressed some other thing which I disliked. The first LED I added was falling apart, so I added e third of the ones I installed later:
I am happy with that. Last winter the water treatment for the Coolant I attached to the mill froze. So It was time to get a new one. This time It's in the room next to my heater room, so it won't freeze again. And I got a mixer which eases refilling a lot. But I have to carry it to the machine. I think for my hobby workshop it is OK.
And I removed the old tool storage and made new ones on Din rails
and I made me some tool tags, the third version I liked best (left one I found on thingiverse, middle my first try, right ma final version)
This wee I should get some magnets, wich should make the even more convenient ti see what tools are loaded. By just sticking the to the housing.
The tool cart also got an upgrade with two short din rails
Hopefully this will keep me more organized, but knowing me I doubt it a bit.
