Many thanks, to all that have help!! A new 5i25 & 7i77 card is on the way. The DB25 cable is from the "Kit (5i25 & 7i77 plug & go kit)" from original purchase. Tracking says late Friday delivery.
Many thanks!
Many thanks!

When testing a PP cable for use with Mesa gear, make sure that none of the pins are wired together. Some cheap cables may only have a single ground wire ran and connect all the usual ground pins (pins 18-25) to that one single wire. That would be very bad for a Mesa card that uses some of those pins for powering the card.

PCW, Many thanks for your help. The LEDs stay on, as stated. The screen will not go to the Linuxcnc (logo screen) only to errors as listed.
When the 1st wiring diagram (in this post) & use it as is, the DRO will work & went to DRO screen.
Now, TB-5, has no connection to anything on Pins 1 & 2. No logo screen, just error screen as per diagram on this post (04 May 2022 19:10 - 06 May 2022 18:43 #241996). I have tried the GND to encoder TB-3 GND to Pin11 on AMC SW-1.
Ready need 2nd opinion about new 7i77 card?
Many thanks for all the great help, I am grateful for the help.
Edit: I have checked continuity on the DB25 cable, all straight through, all tested good.

Todd Zuercher, many thanks for your help! I hope all has been well with you. The best news would be if, that the mail comes early & my new cards are all that is needed. The cable in question is from the "(5i25 & 7i77 plug & go kit)" from original purchase.
Many thanks to all, that have supported me, I am so grateful.
Edit:I plan to install the 5i25, only & see what screen says, as to hope to tease out if 7i77 is good or not.

One thing to be careful with is to never plug or unplug the DB25 cable between the 5I25 and 7I77 with any power applied to either the PC or the machine, especially if the machine and PC are not in the same enclosure. All connections should be secure before anything is powered.

If the cable came with the Plug and go kit I'm sure it's a good cable.
Have you moved any of the jumpers on either card, or are they all in their factory default positions? If any have been changed, which ones? At any point have you tried to re-flash the firmware of your 5i25 card?

I have never re-flash any card. The jumpers were set as per the "back EMF" original settings. I will get complete jumpers setting & post. PCW, thank you for your help. I will remember that for in the future.
Many thanks for all the help.

New cards arrived. The W1 jumper on 5i25 card goes from the factory/delivered position to the position to the outside edge of the card. This only jumper to change? I plan to try only 5i25 card, see what error code, then replace 7i77 to see change. 7i77 card jumpers are in prior post.
Many thanks!

Installed both new cards, red LEDs on both drives go green, one motor is low speed running, other no motion, 1 red LED goes to blinking green LED on 7i77 card after power suppled, all others yellow. Shows Linuxcnc logo screen with DRO moving as per motor. If you use F2 the motors will stop for just an instance, joint one following error shows.
Many thanks!!
Edit: This is the halrun pin out attached.
